I figured this out, by myself, when I was around 7 years old. In my head, whilst in class at school… Along with the rest of the class I was asked what my thoughts on the universe were, as that was what we were discussing that day I guess. My answer was (roughly): “You know how an atom has a nucleus, and protons/ electrons spinning around it? And the Sun has planets spinning around it? Maybe we are just an atom in someones carpet, and one day we’re going to get vacuumed up!”… True story.
